Pasture & Petal was created from a simple idea. The best ingredients for healthy skin often come from the land itself.
On our fifth-generation family farm near Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, we raise American Wagyu cattle on open pasture and care for our own honeybee apiary. Over time we began to recognize that many of the same natural ingredients we value in food can also support healthy skin.
That discovery led to the creation of our Pasture & Petal skincare line.
At the heart of our Pasture & Petal products is pure American Wagyu tallow, rendered from the leaf fat of the cattle we raise for Generations Beef. Tallow has long been valued in traditional skincare because its fatty acids closely match the natural oils found in healthy skin. This allows it to absorb easily while helping keep skin soft, balanced, and well moisturized.
We combine this rich, nourishing tallow with a small number of simple ingredients that work together to create gentle and effective products. Extra virgin olive oil helps soften and condition the skin. Coconut oil contributes to a creamy lather in our soaps and helps lock in moisture. Beeswax and honey from our own apiary provide natural protection and hydration.
Every product in the Pasture & Petal line is crafted in small batches using traditional methods. Our soaps are made through a classic cold-process technique that allows the bars to cure slowly, creating a long-lasting soap with a rich, creamy lather. Our body balms and face creams are blended and whipped into smooth, nourishing formulas that melt easily into the skin.

We also believe that skincare should feel enjoyable and personal. That is why our soap bars are offered in a variety of carefully selected scent blends using essential oils. From fresh and bright citrus notes to deeper wood and spice profiles, each scent brings its own character while keeping the ingredient list simple and natural.
